The overpayment amounts to 592,711 dollars, as will be seen from the enclosed statement, and in order that this sum may be credited to the Colony the Council would be glad if instructions could be sent, by cable, to the Colonial Government to abate their current monthly advances by this amount before 31st March, 1929. Corresponding instructions to the Command Paymaster will be sent from this office.
